Hope can feel elusive under the weight of soul-crushing circumstances. And yet, in miracle after miracle in the Bible, we see defiant hope in Jesus as He heals, restores, and sets things right. What was it like to be the recipients of and partners in these miracles? This Celebration of Hope season, we dive into three different miracles, consider the various points of view in each story, and challenge each person at Willow to play a part in bringing miraculous hope to our world through God’s global church.

As we kick off Celebration of Hope, we’re reminded that Jesus is always near the broken and calls us to share that same hope with others! We explore the story of the leper in Matthew 8:1-4 and Mark 1:40-45 to see Jesus as the source of hope through His compassionate, healing touch.

The story of the blind man gives a glimpse into how hope shatters assumptions and brings restoration. See how Jesus’ light creates a ripple effect of healing, dignity, and hope that’s transforming the world!

March 16

The feeding of the 5,000 shows how even the smallest acts of faith can lead to incredible miracles! Just like the boy with his lunch in John 6:1-15, we all have a part to play in spreading hope and making a big impact, no matter how little we think we have!
