The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
GOD IS MOVING
Families have grown stronger. Marriages have been restored. Children and students have responded to the wonder and awe of Jesus. Friendships have flourished. Relationships have been reconciled. The hungry have been fed. The sick have been cared for. And the homeless have found shelter. SO MANY LIVES HAVE BEEN TRANSFORMED.
BUT GOD IS NOT FINISHED MOVING IN OUR COMMUNITY! He is calling us to courageously follow Him. To relentlessly invite people into a life of significance and meaning. And to share His grace and love without restraint.
LIFE IS BETTER WITH JESUS AT THE CENTER.
OUR HOMES ARE THE EPICENTERS OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH.
THE GOSPEL FLOWS BEST THROUGH FAMILIES.
OUR MOVE VISION CAMPAIGN ALLOWS US TO BRING THE HOPE AND HELP OF JESUS TO EVERY HEART IN EVERY HOME IN OUR REGION. 100 South Main Street—our permanent home—is not the church. We are the church. But our home gives us more space to invite family, friends and neighbors to Sunday services, workshops and events where they too can experience God’s love, grace and mercy.
Our home gives our kids and students the space they need for small groups - to not only nurture and build relationships with new friends, but also encounter Jesus and learn what it means to have a dynamic, meaningful, lifelong relationship with Him.
We have a truly visible location with a compelling property that we can invite our community to enjoy—an inviting and relaxing environment where people of all ages will come throughout the week.
The generosity of those who call Willow Crystal Lake their home has also impacted women and girls that are sexually exploited and trafficked in the Chicagoland area. WILLOW CRYSTAL LAKE HAS PARTNERED WITH REFUGE FOR WOMEN TO PURCHASE A HOME WHERE WOMEN CAN FIND HOPE, HEALING AND A NEW BEGINNING. Our Anti-Human Trafficking ministry has already made a deep difference in women’s lives over the last few years, and we are excited about the redemptive potential of our new partnership.
GOD IS MOVING. AND WE WANT TO KEEP IN STEP WITH THE IMPACT THAT HE DREAMS OF THROUGH US AS A CHURCH.
Following an extensive three-plus-year process of diligent prayer and expert analysis, God has led us to our ideal, permanent home—a place that will allow Willow Crystal Lake to flourish for the next 100 years. With an existing facility of 193,000 square feet on 26 acres with ample green space and abundant parking, 100 S. Main will not only supply our mission with the needed capacity for future growth, but will also strategically position our collective presence within the heart of our region. While a wonderful provision from God, we know that this building is not the vision; it is a means to the end of accomplishing our vision and our MOVE strategy to have a permanent home that becomes a hub from which to reach every heart in every home in our region.
