What to Expect

Welcome to Willow Crystal Lake! We are passionate about loving God, loving others, and changing the world—especially within our own community. Each weekend, we gather to worship and learn from God’s Word—and we also believe church is much more than a one-hour event on Sundays. The relationships formed through a Willow small group or by volunteering provide the ideal place to truly belong, celebrate the joys of life, weather storms together, and become who God made you to be. Where should I park?

Where do I go once I arrive?

Whichever entrance you came in, stop at our New Here Station to be greeted by a volunteer who can walk you to your next destination: to Willow Kids for your littles, to the café for a cup of coffee, or into the Main Auditorium! After service, staff and volunteers at our Next Step Hub (in the middle of the atrium) can help you get connected—or you can simply fill out our digital connect card before you arrive!

What do you offer for kids and students?

Willow Crystal Lake offers fantastic programs for kids and students during weekend services and throughout the week! On Sundays, kids (birth through grade 5) can learn about God in a safe, fun environment, while connecting with others at Willow Kids. Our junior-high students (grades 6–8) meet on Sundays at 9 a.m. for JHM (Junior High Ministry), a Willow Students program created just for them! High schoolers (grades 9–12) meet for HSM (High School Ministry) on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m., where they’ll have time to unpack God’s Word and build friendships in small groups.
