We’re overjoyed to welcome and serve an adventurous community of women at Camp Paradise! Our 2nd women’s retreat was filled with relaxation and reflection—and a ton of laughter and lifelong memories.

What is Women's Retreat?
The Women’s Retreat is a get away experience at Camp Paradise’s remote and beautiful grounds in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We created the Women’s Retreat for women to experience intentional community, connect with themselves and others through outdoor activities, and grow in their spiritual connection with God.
Experience peace in the north woods through daily solitude, quality programming and teaching, community meal times, challenging yourself with outdoor adventure activities. Designed to deepen your relationships and spiritual perspective, we hope this opportunity provides space for you to pursue deep, meaningful connections throughout your time at Camp Paradise.
What can I expect?
- Clean, comfortable cabin-style living quarters and a simple shower house.
- Delicious family-style meals every day and unlimited refills of cold, clean drinking water.
- A beautiful, refreshing waterfront along the banks of the Tahquamenon River for canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming.
- Outdoor activities and high adventure facilities, including a 50-foot, multi-face climbing tower and high ropes course.
- Space to be stretched and to grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
- Quiet solitude time in nature to journal and reflect.
- Intentional, quality time with your cabin group and with God.
- Worship and teaching dedicated to digging into the Bible in community and on your own.
We believe that life change happens when you cross the river. Prepare for these three full days to leave you tired but also recharged and refreshed. In the spirit of a true wilderness retreat, running water and electricity are not available in camper spaces. Make sure you know what to pack—and what to leave at home!
