Parents, have you ever wished you could attend church AND volunteer each weekend, but you wonder, “What do I do with my kid(s)?”
Try Aftershock!
Aftershock is an intentionally unique experience for Willow Kids, whose parents volunteer in any Willow ministry on Sunday mornings. It’s a dedicated space for children to play, hang out with friends and leaders, and eat a meal together at church while you serve at Willow.
When’s it open?
During the 11 a.m. service.
Where is it?
Crystal Lake: Student Atrium (next to the Willow Cafe)
South Barrington: D140 (across from the nursery)
How do I check in?
Crystal Lake: When you check in for the 9 a.m. service, let the Willow Kids greeter know your child will be attending Aftershock. You will be added to both Willow Kids at 9 a.m. and Aftershock at 11 a.m.
South Barrington: Check in using the Aftershock kiosk at the Volunteer Check-in Desk, located behind the D entrance escalators, prior to the 9 a.m. service.
Who’s it for?
Kids who have attended Willow Kids during the 9 a.m. service (Crystal Lake: 5 years old through 5th grade, South Barrington: 2 years old through 5th grade) whose parents are working or serving at Willow on Sunday morning.
