Serving at Willow Creek Community Church
Willow Creek offers hundreds of opportunities for you to use your gifts, passions, and talents to build our local church. You can invest in our kids and students, greet guests, help care for the plants and trees around campus, make coffee, and more. Whatever your passion, we have a place for you!

The Willow Creek Care Center operates 10 sessions weekly with the help of 2,500 volunteers! Some volunteers participate in one-time serves, while the majority connect with a long-term role, serving for a couple of hours on a regular basis. Located at Willow South Barrington, the Willow Creek Care Center provides both immediate and long-term care to those in need in our community. From groceries to legal assistance, children's clothes to eye appointments—there is a serving opportunity that will fit your talents and passion.
As a Compassion & Justice ministry, we live out this mission by sharing the hope and love of Christ while meeting basic needs and offering long-term solutions that empower people toward a more stable future.
Core Values
- Dignity. We believe in creating a radically inclusive community where people are treated with dignity and respect regardless of their ethnic, economic, legal, or religious status.
- Hope. We believe true hope is found in a redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Transformation. We believe transformation occurs in the hearts of those serving and being served, as God redeems hurting people and broken situations.
