As we head into this season of moving into our new building, there will be many opportunities for you to get involved! We need YOU to make this move possible. Check out the different areas below and learn more.
As we prepare for this big move, there will be a lot of logistical tasks that need to be done, such as taking inventory of what we have at the Ministry Center, purging and selling items we don't need in our new space, packing and labeling boxes, moving and distributing items to the new building, and then unpacking once we have everything there. If you're a person with great organizational skills, we need you!
CLEAN-UP + RESTORATION
Both the Ministry Center and the new building will need some tidying and fixing as we leave one and move to the other. Do you have a passion for cleaning spaces and making them look great? Or are you handy person that enjoys restoration? We've got a place for you.
This exciting time in Willow Chicago's history deserves some celebration! We need party people who love organizing events. We will have two big celebrations: a celebration honoring our 10-year partnership with the Auditorium Theatre and our Grand Opening at our new building. Event planning in and of itself has many serving areas: vision planning, decoration design, logistics and administrative tasks, etc.
Moving into the South Loop provides Willow Chicago a unique opportunity to engage in the city in a way we haven't been able to do. We place high value presence and partnership in the community, and we need people passionate about relationships to help us, specifically with learning and outreach in the South Loop.
