THE HIGH SCHOOL YEARS
The high school years are often a time when you are discovering your own voice and what you believe to be true. Our heart is to make Student Impact a safe place to be yourself and ask hard questions. We help students begin and grow a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ.
Student Impact strives to be a community of students passionately following Jesus in a way that compels others to follow Him.
High school students meet in the Student Ministry Room at 11 a.m. for service. (North Entrance of Building) We start out with some food and hangout time, then go right into worship and a short message. After that, we break into small groups with our student ministry leaders. The Sunday service ends at the same time as the main worship service.
At Impact, we are committed to building a multi-cultural community of students passionately following Jesus in a way that compels others to follow Him. High school students are supported and challenged in their own spiritual journey through Student Impact. Our heart is to see this generation be empowered Christ-followers. We have the amazing opportunity to sew seeds into the lives of our students, not just on Sunday mornings, but throughout the week and month through the use of small groups, serving opportunities, community events, and summer camps.
There are many ways for Impact students to participate in service projects around the community along with fun outings and weekend retreats where students have the opportunity to grow deeper in their faith. We have serving opportunities with Promiseland and our partners: Breakthrough Urban Ministries, By the Hand Club for Kids, and Selah Freedom House
