Safari Adventure

Hello Families, Friends and Neighbors,

Promiseland, Willow Creek Huntley’s Children’s Ministry, is so excited to invite your kids (entering Kindergarten through entering 3rd grade) to a one-day, close-to-home camp experience this summer.

Our theme this year is “Safari Adventure” —let your kids come and explore with us how what we see around us can help us stand our ground and do what’s right. We want to help your kids discover more about how we can treat others the way we want to be treated (Matthew 7:12) and celebrate each other’s uniqueness through fun games, crafts, water relays, and other activities.

We will be providing a fun and high-energy, five-hour program for your kids and their friends right in your neighborhood. We have selected ten families from our church (who have been carefully screened by our protection ministry) to host each of these awesome experiences in their home and yard. Our staff and volunteers are committed to caring for your kids and to creating a safe, fun, and community-building environment for the day.

On Sunday, August 6, our entire church will celebrate all of our kids and camps with a great service at 9 or 11 a.m. and with after-service parties at our annual “Family Celebration Sunday.”  The kids will perform in the main service and then wrap up camp together in Promiseland that day.

We hope to see your kids and their friends at one of our camps.

God’s Big Backyard

Come adventure with your toddlers and preschoolers as we explore God’s big backyard. Using our imagination, we’ll  travel to where some of God’s coolest creatures  live. Each destination will have a  song, game, craft or safari snack.

Each Pee Wee Party is hosted at a home in our community, lasts 2 hours, and is a parent-child event.

Older siblings welcome.

Camp 45

Promiseland is thrilled to have a brand-new camp experience for incoming 4th and 5th graders.  Camp 45 will have all the the fun and faith building elements of our Promiseland backyard camps while adding a more youth-like feel through specific games and activities geared to older kids.

Camp  45 will be held on Saturday, August 5th from 4-8pm.

This 4 hour program will include dinner as well as some classic favorite outdoor treats. In order to provide our 4th and 5th graders with a high-energy, all-out camp experience with great peer connections there will be just one Camp 45.
