CELEBRATION OF HOPE
Celebration of Hope is a time that we focus on the ends of the Earth and what global issues are affecting the vulnerable.
“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” - Philippians 2:4
WHAT IS HOPE?
Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
Celebration of Hope is expecting that the hope we have in our living God will be shared to bring his kingdom come, where wrong will be made right. We celebrate that we can be a part of that hope. The love and grace that Jesus gave, we share and are motivated to be a difference in this world.
What Can We Do?

Run for Refugees
Grab Your Running Shoes and a Few Friends!
Put hope in motion this spring as part of the Willow Creek 5K Run for Refugees! This family-friendly, USATF-certified race at Willow Creek’s South Barrington campus helps raise awareness about the refugee crisis in the Middle East—and extends the compassion of Christ to refugees and their families. All proceeds go toward providing mentoring and entrepreneurial opportunities to help refugees rebuild their lives in productive ways.
Whether you’re a runner looking for a great race, a walker looking for a cool event with friends or family, or an advocate looking for a great cause, hit the pavement at Willow Creek on May 6—and be part of bringing hope and help to those who need it the most.
