What to Expect

Welcome to Willow Wheaton!

We are a faith community passionate about loving God, loving people, and changing the world—especially within our own neighborhoods and community. Each weekend we gather to celebrate, worship and learn from God’s Word, but we believe “church” is much more than a one-hour event on Sundays. We find that the strongest, most fulfilling bonds are formed through volunteering and small groups with others—that’s where real life-change and connection happens! We believe in this so much that you’ll often hear us say we want, “every person in a group and every group on mission”! Wherever you find yourself in life or faith, we hope your first step will be checking out Willow Wheaton!

Where do I go when I get there?

We are here to help as much as you need! If you would like to find your own way, you’re more than welcome to go straight into our Main Auditorium and sit wherever you’d like. If you have kids, stop by our Welcome Table just inside the lobby doors and one of our guest hosts would love to help you find out about our kids ministry that meets across the courtyard. Staff and volunteers are standing to help you get connected—or you can fill out our digital connect card before you come!

What do you offer for kids?

We offer fantastic programs for kids and students during weekend services and throughout the week! On Sundays, kids birth–grade 5 can learn about God and connect with others at Willow Kids. Our junior-high students meet each Sunday at 10 a.m. for a Willow Students program created just for them! High schoolers are invited to meet on Sundays at 5 p.m., where they’ll have time to unpack God’s Word in large and small groups.

We believe we’re never done growing—sometimes that looks like taking a step in volunteering or generosity, and sometimes that means reaching out for help. We all experience the ups and downs of life, and no matter where you find yourself, we are here to help you discover what’s next.
