Celebration of Hope Daily Prayer: Day 5

Compassion & Justice | April 15, 2021

According to the UN Refugee Agency, while many assume Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is the most common mental health struggle for refugees, depression and anxiety are actually the most prevalent. Because refugees are already at higher risk for mental health struggles and have less coping strategies available to them, COVID has been a catalyst for the number of mental health disorders among refugees to skyrocket. Pray for each person who is struggling with their mental health during the pandemic, but particularly for those who are refugees.
