Student Impact Serving Teams

Student Impact serving teams are open to current Student Impact students who have a desire to serve our global ministry partners around the world!

Are you a student interested in joining a serving team?

All global serving teams are available to those who want to deepen their relationship with God through serving our church partners around the world! The teams traveling to Latin America are available to current freshman – seniors. The teams traveling to Cambodia and Zambia are only available to current juniors and seniors.

A typical serving week will include:

  • Attending a local church service and fellowship with the community
  • Team devotion time each morning
  • Serving as a team alongside church and community members
  • Team debrief time each evening
  • A day to enjoy a fun cultural experience
  • Trips are approximately 7-10 days depending on the location and will all depart on June 8, 2019

Looking to apply?

Sorry, our applications closed for these trips on December 9.

By mid-December, all applicants will be notified if they have received an opportunity to interview or not. If you have been selected, the Team Leader of the trip will contact you to schedule an interview with you and both of your parents. Interviews will occur in January or February and will last approximately one hour. Interviews are a great opportunity for the Team Leader to learn more about you, your desire to serve, and if this trip will be a good fit. Additionally, this will be a great time for you and your parents to ask questions and determine if you can commit to all of the expectations and preparations required for serving on a trip.

Following the interview, in early March, you will be notified if you have been accepted to join the team. At this time, all confirmed team members will need to officially register. Registration includes:

  • Providing your emergency contact information
  • Signing an International Travel Release Form
  • Completing a parental consent form (if 17 years or younger), which must be notarized
  • Providing a copy of your passport
  • Paying a $250 nonrefundable deposit
  • Committing to the expectations of participating on a global serving team
