ABOUT THE TRIP
This team will work with Enlace on one of their health and sanitation projects: construction of eco-stoves that reduce the risk of respiratory illness, latrines that prevent the spread of disease, or water projects that combat waterborne illness. Each project is overseen by a local expert, and the team will serve together with the community. These teams are warmly welcomed by the surrounding community, and team members will build relationships with church members and families in the area.
ABOUT THE PARTNER
On this trip you will work with our partner Enlace, an organization that serves communities in El Salvador by empowering local churches. Their work encourages churches to become agents of change in their communities as they work to develop sustainable solutions to poverty and other social issues. Enlace coaches leaders to design initiatives that address some of the toughest issues their communities face, such as health improvement, housing, and water systems.
