Frequently Asked Questions

Can I drop off my child to enjoy the carnival on their own?
No. This event is a parent-supervised event for children through age 18. You are responsible for the supervision and safety of your child while they are at Summer Fest. No childcare is available.

How much do the wristbands cost?
They cost $10. They’re valued at $25–30 but we negotiated a great price with our vendors. Wristbands are good for unlimited use throughout both days of the event.

How do my kids get wristbands for free?
Free wristbands are being distributed during each Promiseland, Elevate, Impact, and Special Friends service. Or, if your child attends service with you in the Main Auditorium, simply visit a Guest Experience host as you exit, and he or she can help you get a wristband for your child.

What if we’re attending the carnival before my child attends a service. Can my child still get a free wristband?
The free wristbands are being distributed at the end of each Promiseland, Elevate, Student Impact, and Special Friends service, but if you wish to enjoy the carnival before then, you are welcome to purchase wristbands at any Information Booth, located in the Main Lobby around service times or at the carnival entrances in Parking Lot D.

Do I need a wristband to enjoy the inflatables or games?
No. The inflatables are free to everyone. Games are cash only (not included in wristband price).

Is this a cash-only event?
No. Credit cards are accepted for most elements of Summer Fest:

  • Cash and credit cards: Wristbands, Harvest Food Court, Café, and some food trucks
  • Cash only: Carnival games and food stands are cash only. Some food-truck vendors may be cash-only.

Is there a cost to the carnival games?
Yes. The midway-style carnival games are cash only.

What happens if it rains?
Light rain: Carnival rides and inflatables will operate.

Storms, high wind, or lightning: Rides and inflatables will temporarily close until weather improves.
