Amy Gowans

Amy Gowans serves as the Office Manager and Response Team Facilitator at Willow Chicago.  She has served in a variety of ministries over the past 24 years at Willow Creek, with her passion being providing a listening ear to those in need.  Since seeing the skyline in 3^rd grade, Amy knew she wanted to reside in the city.  It took 38 years for her to meet that goal, but she and her husband did. Amy loves “doing lunch”, meandering along the Chicago Riverwalk, playing at the dog park, and participating in CrossFit.

Crystal Givens

Crystal Givens serves as the Operations and Production Coordinator for Willow Chicago's children's ministry, Promiseland. She focuses on building volunteer relationships, managing the daily operational functions and creatively builds and designs environments in hope of making the children's ministry a great experience for kids and volunteers. Crystal loves fashion design, marketing, volunteering throughout the city and educating herself through visiting museums. 

 

Glenn Gilliam

Glenn Gilliam serves as the Community Life Pastor at Willow Chicago. He oversees the community life small groups and cause groups, the marriage ministry and prayer ministry. Over the last 29 years of marriage Glenn and his wife Kye have served in several ministry roles. Glenn's life goals are to see people introduced to the Lord; he desires for them know God and His great love. His Mission is to see God’s people built up, reaching their full potential within their call. Glenn has a love for sports, fishing, action movies, travel and on very rare occasions, theater.

Jen Weber

Jen Weber serves as the Communications Manager for Willow Chicago. She oversees all digital and print communications for Sunday services, special events, and Willow Chicago ministries. Jen appreciates Willow’s multicultural focus, and she is passionate about communicating the mission of being an Acts 2 church through her work. For fun, Jen loves cooking, hosting dinner parties, and traveling with her husband, Craig.

 

Michael Goggins

Michael Goggins serves as the Compassion and Justice Director at Willow Chicago. A native of Chicago, he is very passionate about bringing change to the city through better education, economic development, and decreased crime. Michael is a veteran of Willow Creek Community Church, having gotten his start at Willow's inception through Son City in Palatine, IL.

Nate Carey

Nate serves as the Operations Director at Willow Chicago, overseeing the church’s processes, finances, and compliance. He has a heart for helping the underdog, and fighting the injustices of our world. Nate, his wife Jill, and daughter Fawn, live in Edgewater. 

Nyad Michaels

Nyad Michaels serves as the Promiseland Volunteer Coordinator and the Executive Assistant. She is grateful for the opportunity to exercise her gifts of administration, hospitality and encouragement to support the Children's Ministry Volunteers and the Lead Pastor (Rob Campbell). Her heart is overjoyed by serving as God's reminder of His encouragement and support because of His great love for everyone through Jesus. 

Nyad enjoys reading and connecting with friends over coffee/dessert.  She loves eating out and traveling with her husband Jim as well as being at home to cozy up with their yellow Labrador, Cooper.

Rick Wood

Rick Wood is Discipleship Pastor at Willow Chicago. He is a total people person who loves connecting with people and helping them find authentic community. These passions fit perfectly with his roles leading the Connections process and overseeing all Willow Chicago community groups. A proud native of the Hoosier state, he is still a gym rat and huge basketball fan. He and his wife, Karen, are still relatively new to the city and love the close proximity to both their married daughters! 

Roberto Flores

Roberto Flores serves as the Technical Director for Willow Chicago. He oversees the production of Sunday services and manages all things lights, sound, and video. He has a strong passion for telling stories through video, especially stories that raise awareness to issues of social justice. Roberto lives in Des Plaines with his wife and two daughters.  

 

 

Stephen Kelly

Stephen Kelly serves as the Director of Weekend Services and Worship Pastor at Willow Chicago. He is passionate about being part of the restorative process of bringing the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven and reconciling us back to each other. Stephen is also on the faculty at North Park University where he teaches worship and directs the Gospel choir. He, his wife, Trina, and son, Stephen, live in Albany Park.
