Helping children affected by Hurricane Harvey

Willow Creek, in partnership with World Vision, is sending supplies for children affected by Hurricane Harvey. Please continue to pray for those who are seeking to rebuild their lives and homes in the coming months.

Thank you to all who donated!

Hurricane Harvey left a wake of devastation in Houston and all across Southeast Texas, leaving hundreds of thousands of people with flooded homes wondering what's next for their families. Our hearts were broken for the lives lost and for those left with nothing but the clothes on their backs, and as a church and community, we decided to act! We are blown away by the incredible outpouring of generosity that was displayed, and we are praying that these supplies will extend the love of Christ to our brothers and sisters in Houston!

We want to thank you—our neighbors and church community, local organizations, churches partners, schools, and sports teams—for linking arms to gather supplies for the children and families affected by Hurricane Harvey. The semitrucks are jam-packed with diapers, socks, underwear, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and toys. The final palettes are being loaded up and the trucks will arrive in Texas on Monday night!

We would like to extend a big thank you to World Vision, our partner in this effort, who will distribute the supplies to those who desperately need them. Willow Creek is committed to assisting in long-term rebuilding efforts in Southeast Texas and will keep the community updated as plans come together. Continue to pray for those who are working to rebuild their lives and homes in months ahead.
