The Care Center Food Store is open to any person or family in need of food. We stock the store with fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy and eggs, bread, a variety of meat, as well as canned and packaged foods. When you visit the Food Store, you are able to choose the items that suit you and your family’s preferences and needs.
You and your family may come to the Care Center for groceries one time per month, free of cost.
You may come once a week for bread.
Our food comes from the Greater Chicago Food Depository and other partner organizations.
To shop for groceries at the Care Center please bring the following:
A photo ID
Proof of your address, dated within the last 30 days, such as a utility bill, bank statement, piece of mail, etc...
