This weekend, May 20/21, Willow Creek launches a new weekend series, Steadfast. "So often people jump from hero to hero, job to job, object to object," says Teaching Pastor Steve Carter. "It has become easier to move on rather than fully commit yourself where God has planted you. We want to call our community to be steadfast."
This four-week series, taught by Steve and Senior Pastor Bill Hybels, will explore the importance and fundamentals of being steadfast. "Sometimes it's not about doing massive, world-changing things," continues Steve. "It's about staying faithful, persisting through hardship, and returning to the calling God has placed on your life day after day after day."
Commit to attending all four weeks of Steadfast, and see how God uses it to shape you!
A Taste of AlphaAlpha at Willow Creek has impacted hundreds of lives in the past five years, providing a relaxed environment where people can ask questions about life and faith while learning about the God who loves them. "Alpha is one of our best tools to help people come to faith," says Steve Carter, "but a lot of Willow attenders still wonder what Alpha is all about, and if they should invite a friend. The team is hosting a one-night course, A Taste of Alpha, to help you know exactly what to expect."
All are invited to attend A Taste of Alpha at 7 p.m. this Wednesday in B100. Come learn what Alpha is all about!
