Bob Goff This WeekendWillow Creek welcomes New York Times best-selling author Bob Goff this weekend! Bob’s trademark hilarious and insightful gift of storytelling reveals the lessons he's learned (often the hard way) about what it means to love without inhibition, insecurity, or restriction.
From finding friends in unlikely places to discovering the upside of failure, Bob points the way to embodying love by doing the unexpected, the intimidating, and the seemingly impossible. Whether losing his shoes while skydiving solo or befriending a Ugandan witch doctor, Bob exhibits a life with a no-limits embrace of others that is as infectious as it is extraordinarily ordinary. Come this weekend to laugh and learn how you can better love everyone, always!
Start a Tradition of ServingMore than 40,000 people celebrate Easter at Willow Creek, many for the first time, and it takes hundreds of volunteers to ensure each person has a fantastic experience! Volunteer opportunities are available at all five Easter services and both Good Friday services. You can serve our kids, prepare and serve food or coffee, direct traffic, greet guests, and more.
"Whatever your passion or gifting is, whether you like to be a welcoming face or prefer to be behind the scenes, there's a place for you!" says Teaching Pastor Steve Carter. "Would you consider starting a tradition of serving this Easter? If you have kids, have them volunteer with you! Some of the best conversations with my son about faith and loving others have happened while we were serving together."
