Begin a Journey through John

Let's Journey through John

This weekend we begin a Journey through John, complete with weekend teaching, daily devotionals, small-group guides, and family experiences. Kids, students, and adults at all campuses will learn together—discovering the power of God's Word and presence of Jesus in our daily lives.

"Jesus’ first words in the book of John are a question: 'What do you want?'" says Acting Senior Pastor Steve Gillen. "Jesus is all we could ever want or need, but our view of Him is often clouded by misconceptions and distortions. Through this series, we hope to see the real Jesus—the one who invites, includes, satisfies, serves, unites—the one who rose from the dead!"

Former Willow Teaching Pastor Mike Breaux kicks off weekend services with an invitation to "Come and See" from John 1:35–39. Jesus invites us to see who He really is, and this weekend service is only the beginning of our learning.

Dive into John through daily devotionals (beginning January 28), available digitally on the Willow Creek app or with books available in the Main Lobby. Books for kids and students are available in Promiseland, Elevate, and Impact. Discover all resources here, and use #willowjourney to share your experience!

The Beauty of Community

Last week, more than 750 people took a step into community at GroupLaunch. "We are ecstatic to see so many from our church getting connected in intentional relationships," says Group Life Director Stephanie Haugen. "We're expectant for what God will do with these new small groups and look forward to connecting others who weren't able to attend our first GroupLaunch event."

Gather your friends and take part in the Journey through John together, or explore open groups in your area using our GroupFinder.
