A New Gathering for Young Adults
The Willow Creek Young Adults ministry is launching a new six-week pilot called The Gathering. It's a place where young adults, couples, professionals, and college students gather weekly to have community, connection, and conversations about topics that matter most to them. "Something very special is about to happen in the lives of this generation at Willow. I'm ecstatic to be a part of this brand-new season," says Young Professionals Director Clary Butler.
The Gathering is a space to relate with other people, discuss our purpose, and talk about ideas to make the world a better place. This is not a church service, but rather a time to connect with other peers in all stages of life. For approximately 90 minutes, there will be live music, free food, and a time of sharing both stories and ideas. This is a great opportunity to explore the challenges we face in our world today.
Kellie Kushner of Willow Young Adults says, "The Gathering was just a thought written on a napkin at GLS17, so for it to be launching this week with approximately 600 RSVPs so far is so exciting!"
The Gathering launches at 7 p.m. this Thursday night, February 1 in the Activity Center. To learn more about this experience, watch this video, or click here to RSVP—it's not too late!
Continuing in the Reset Series
This weekend, Teaching Pastor Steve Carter continues the Reset series, unpacking what the Bible has to say about one of the most stressful topics for singles, married couples, and families. Can you guess what it might be?
