A Time for Adventure, A Time to Invest
Camp Paradise calls out the best in dads, giving them opportunities to connect with their sons and daughters each summer at Dads Camp. Located in Michigan's pristine Upper Peninsula, Camp Paradise provides a chance to step away from fast-paced lives and unplug for three uninterrupted days together—going deeper in relationships with God and each other through quality teaching, focused one-on-one time, and adventurous activities that deepen your relationships and spiritual perspective.
“Going to Camp Paradise gives me the space to create one-on-one time with my daughter, and it encourages her (and me) to unplug from the phone, giving us the opportunity to connect in a real way,” shared Ron, a Willow North Shore attender and camp dad. “I don’t have to compete with all the other distractions. I’m more patient to listen to and affirm her. That distance and the lack of signal really forces me to unplug and be present.”
Camp Paradise is truly an away-from-it-all experience, with no running water, cell signal, Wi-Fi, or electricity, and the undivided attention dads give can be life-changing. Dads instill bravery and strength in their kids through conquering the 50-foot climbing tower, canoeing along the Tahquamenon River, exploring the hiking trails, and enjoying moments around evening campfires.
Dads Camp registration is open March 1–8. Click here to view all 2018 camp sessions.
