Celebrate the 2017 Global Leadership Summit

Willow Creek will be buzzing on Thursday as the 2017 Global Leadership Summit kicks off with more than 10,000 people visiting the South Barrington campus to learn from top church and business leaders. The Summit’s reach will extend far beyond the walls of our church—it’s being broadcast live to more than 160,000 people at 600+ host sites in the United States, eventually reaching an additional 240,000 people in 128 countries, for a total global impact of 400,000 leaders!

You are invited to join guests from around the world in celebrating the 2017 GLS at 7 p.m. this Wednesday, August 9, in the Main Auditorium. Worship with the Summit band, hear stories about God’s work around the world, and spend time praying for God to move—both locally and globally. “This night isn’t just for Summit attenders,” says Senior Pastor Bill Hybels. “It’s a time for our whole church to gather in celebration of what God is doing through local churches around the world. Come be inspired and thank God through worship and prayer."

The exponential impact of the Summit extends far beyond the individual lives of those attending. “My prayer this year is that God would anoint and protect the Summit” continues Bill. “Please join me in that prayer in the coming days.”

Quick tips for Summit attenders:

  • Check in on Wednesday night at the Summit Celebration.
  • Download the Summit app.
  • Carpool to the Summit, or park atAMC South Barrington on Thursday and Friday to give our guests the best parking possible on campus. Shuttles will be available, and the first 500 people at AMC on each day will receive a free leadership resource.
