Dear Enews Friends,
This weekend, we get to wrap up what has been a tremendous Celebration of Hope—but first, I have to congratulate you. You helped us hit our goal of filling one million seed packs last weekend. Way to go! The seeds are already in the process of being shipped to our partner ministries.
Now we have one more important COH weekend together. Tomorrow morning, we will hit the pavement to participate in the Willow Creek 5K for kids around the world. Don’t spend your Saturday just sitting around. Come out and join us! You can walk up and register today and tomorrow at packet pickup—so come get some exercise and help us fund classrooms for kids in the Dominican Republic, Cambodia, and Zambia.
We have a fantastic service planned, including worship and a powerful message from teacher, author, and global advocate for justice Danielle Strickland.
At the end of the service, we will have the opportunity to give a gift above and beyond our regular tithe to help fund global initiatives. If you haven’t walked through the displays in the lobby, please take the time to do so, and see how your gift can make an impact around the world. My family is already praying and thinking about how God is prompting us to give. Please ask God to direct you as well, and let’s make this a fantastic wrap-up to this year’s Celebration of Hope!
