Worship, worry, redemption, and celebration

Dear Enews Friends,

Our worship team has a fantastic service planned for this weekend. You may have heard they’ve been in a posture of reflection and listening to God, seeking the ways He is moving in our church and putting it to words through songs. I’ve seen God’s faithfulness to us through the authentic worship rising in our church family, and I can’t wait to lift these songs up to Him with gratitude.

We’re also continuing Kingdom Come with a message on worry from Matthew 6:25–34. Our world is more anxious than ever—I’m sure you’ve felt it. I pray we can lean into Jesus’ words and rest in the peace He gives. Our Road to Peace workshops also kick off next week, exploring pain and how to redeem it. Learn more here.

With gratitude,

Steve Gillen

P.S. Our fall Baptism services are in two weeks—November 10/11.  If you’ve recently decided to follow Jesus, or you haven’t been baptized yet, I encourage you to make your faith public. Learn more and register here.
