Dear Willow Friends,
Happy New Year! I hope you had a great holiday and had time to slow down and connect with those you love. I encourage you to spend time reflecting on this past year, the good and the bad, and seeking God for what He has in store for the year ahead. In our fast-paced world, looking back is often an afterthought, but it is deeply powerful to remember what God has done. This practice has been a faith builder for me, and I pray it is for you as well.
This weekend, we continue Together with a message from Jeff Manion. He will paint a picture of the value of community, teaching from Ecclesiastes 4:8–12. One of the major blessings I received in 2018 was the community that surrounded me through some difficult days, and my prayer for our church is that we will each find a deep sense of connection and belonging in the coming year.
P.S. If you are looking to get connected to a small group, save the date for GroupLaunch on January 16. This one-night event will pair you with small-group leaders and others in your neighborhood or life stage to start a group. Learn more and register here.
