Cultivate: Growing in the Fruit of the Spirit

This July, Teaching Pastor Steve Carter continues the new series Cultivate. "The Bible is rich with metaphors about planting, growing fruit, and pruning," says Steve. "Our lives are evidence to the work of God in our world through the good fruit we bear. And Galatians 5 tells us exactly what that good fruit is: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self control."

Cultivate is a five-week series that will explore what good fruit is, what it isn't, and how we can cultivate fruit in our life. "I want to take a practical look at how we can grow in the fruit of the Spirit," continues Steve. "What does love actually look like? What is a life rooted in peace—and how do we get that? This will be a series that will challenge us all to cultivate good things in our lives."
