Dear Enews Friends,
Tonight our community will join with millions around the world to honor the most profound demonstration of sacrificial love in history. In our services at 5 and 7:30 p.m., we will be reminded of God’s rescue plan for those He loved and the price His son paid to carry it out. We will also participate in the sacrament of Communion, which always seems more powerful on Good Friday evening. I urge every one of you to honor Christ by being present for this sacred event.
Then tomorrow at 1, 4 & 7 p.m. and Sunday at 9 & 11:45 a.m., we will proclaim to our community and the watching world that the grave could not hold the Crucified One! We will savor afresh the fact that resurrection power is available to any and all who put their faith in the One who conquered death.
Our creative team has been working for months to present the miracle of the resurrection in a new and memorable way. Steve Carter will give his first-ever Easter message at Willow. I will be cheering him on from the front row and saying the closing prayer at the end of all the services. I can’t wait! Please make as many final invitations as you can to spread the news that the world has a risen Savior!
