Casa de Luz Stewardship Coordinator

The part time Stewardship Coordinator will develop a team of volunteers who can teach and model the life of a good steward. He/She will proactively cultivate the spiritual gift of giving and a heart of generosity within the Casa de Luz congregation. In addition he/she will create, implement and teach workshops and classes to help embed the principles of Biblical financial stewardship into the lives of all Casa attenders.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, implement and teach effective workshops and classes for those throughout the continuum of living paycheck to paycheck to those who are financially secure such as Financial Peace University, The Legacy Plan, Budget Workshops, or Financial group coaching
  • Develop a network of Casa de Luz business owners to equip them with ways to better steward their resources and influence
  • Proactively cultivate the gift of Giving and a heart of generosity within the lives of Casa attenders by engaging in individual discipleship of others, developing a Pastor's communication strategy, and equipping the weekend teachers with content for weekend offering set ups
  • Develop volunteers who model the life of a good steward through recruitment and training
  • Provide oversight and guidance for the Estate Planning Team and match congregation members with the proper attorney or planner

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual and bi-cultural (Spanish)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong leader and dynamic teacher
  • High relational intelligence
  • Ability to cast vision
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Prior experience managing, leading and coaching others
  • A model of biblical financial stewardship, giving at least 10% to God
  • Prior experience with volunteer care and management
  • Spiritual gifts of Leadership, Teaching, Shepherding, Hospitality and/or Administration
