Graphic Designer


The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and creating design elements that help to improve our marketing efforts, effectively communicate our values, and increase the clarity in our messaging. You will develop original creative content and leverage our existing brands and designs in various formats including social applications, website and app visuals, as well as some print design. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.



  • Work with the Marcom team to schedule projects and define budget constraints
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements, prepare rough drafts/comps and present ideas
  • Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final designs
  • Test graphics across various media
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest design best practices and technologies
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and other ministry teams
  • Communicate with other industry professionals and create a strong network


  • 3–5 years prior experience as a graphic designer
  • Expertise in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Those with experience in web or app design will be given special consideration (UI, UX)
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker with strong problem solving skills
  • Good time management and strong communication skills
  • Spiritual gifts of wisdom, exhortation, creative communication, and/or craftsmanship
