Jerry Root
Jerry Root is a former pastor and football coach who lives in Wheaton with his beautiful wife, Claudia, and his kids. He has taught classes on C.S. Lewis at both the College of DuPage and Wheaton College.

Jerry became a follower of Jesus while at Whittier College. He received an M.Div. from Talbot Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from British Open University, where his Doctoral Thesis was C.S. Lewis and the Problem of Evil: A Pervasive Theme. Jerry has lectured in fourteen countries and nineteen states. He is co-editor of the book The Quotable C.S. Lewis.
