Visiting Willow Creek
Planning a visit to Willow
Welcome to Willow Creek, where our doors are wide open to everyone regardless of their background. We're a larger church, but don't let our size overwhelm you. Size has its benefits: you can easily blend in if you'd like—or you can take advantage of lots of ways to get connected. You'll find a broad menu of ministries and opportunities designed to help you take next steps on your spiritual journey, no matter where you are in your faith.
At Willow, we believe people matter deeply to God—you matter deeply to God—and you matter to us.
Willow Creek's parking lots: Located south and west of the main building, Willow's lots provide ample parking spaces for our guests—and include long banks of handicapped spaces near entrances. Curbside drop-off near the Main Auditorium is available at Entrance D. Willow's traffic team—those hardy folks sporting orange vests—guides traffic and helps ensure efficient and safe passage to and from the church. Please respect their directions and show gratitude for their commitment to our safety.
Fast Trac Shuttles: For those wanting to avoid a long walk to their cars and congested traffic after services, we offer convenient Fast Trac parking for the 9 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services. To utilize this service, simply enter Willow's campus from the Barrington Road entrance, follow the signs to Fast Trac parking, and park your car in the Fast Trac lot. Board a Fast Trac shuttle, which will take you directly to Entrance E, conveniently located between the Main Auditorium and Dr. B's Café. After the service, simply take the shuttle back to your car, then make the quick exit back onto Barrington Road.
Shuttles begin operating at 8 a.m. on Sundays and continue operating until around 1:30 p.m., or an hour after the conclusion of the 11:15 a.m. service.
NOTE: Due to road work on campus, the FastTrac parking lot will be closed on Sunday, July 12. There will be plenty of room in the other lots for parking. Shuttle buses will be in the parking lot outside the F entrance to offer rides up to the entrance. We apologize for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience!
Willow offers handicapped seating as well as seats for those with vision impairment in the Main Auditorium. Just ask a service host (one of the friendly people wearing a teal Guest Connection lanyard) to help you find a seat that meets your needs.
Assistive listening devices are available at the Welcome Center, located near Entrance D in the Main Lobby, outside the Main Auditorium.
We speak your language! Spanish, Korean, and sign language interpretation are available at the 11:15 a.m. service on Sundays. Chinese interpretation is available at the 5:30 p.m. service on Saturdays and 11:15 a.m. service on Sundays. Pick up an interpretation headset at the east door of Guest Central—just outside the Main Auditorium—prior to the start of the service.
Casa de Luz, Willow's Spanish-language congregation, hosts an all-Spanish service at 11:15 a.m. every Sunday afternoon in the Chapel. Learn more.
Willow's Deaf Connection provides sign language interpretation at Willow Creek services and events as follows:
- Weekend Service—11:15 a.m. Sundays, Section 202 (Mezzanine level), Main Auditorium
Promiseland, our children's ministry for infants through grade 5, provides a safe, fun environment for your child to learn about God's love. Promiseland serves kids and parents at all weekend services. If this is your first visit to Promiseland, plan to arrive about 30 minutes prior to the start of the service. We'll help you register and escort you and your child to their room, allowing ample time for you to get to your seat in the Main Auditorium.
Elevate, our junior high ministry (grades 6–8), provides a high-octane, safe atmosphere for junior high kids to get to know God and one another during weekend services. Elevate doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of each weekend service.
Student Impact, our high school ministry (grades 9–12), holds a powerful worship and teaching service in the Lakeside Auditorium at 11:15 a.m. every Sunday. Students sit with others who attend their high school, making connection easier. Impact house groups meet from 1–3 p.m. on Sunday afternoons in local homes near students' schools.
If you have questions once you're here, stop by one of the Info Booths, located near Entrances D and E of the Main Lobby, and a service host will be happy to help you.
If you'd like someone to pray for you after any weekend service, head for Willow's Prayer Room (Room D252), located between the Main Lobby and the Atrium. Members of Willow's trained and compassionate prayer team are waiting there to listen to you and lift your request before God.
Willow Creek’s beautiful South Barrington campus includes a serene walking path, the Worship Trail. This 1.8 mile trail winds around Willow's woods, marshes, and lake—and features Scripture markers and benches along the way, providing visitors a peaceful place to reflect on God’s Word in the beauty of His creation. The Worship Trail is open daily.
Dr. B's is an inviting spot to meet up with friends and family, or to enjoy a cup of coffee or pastry before or after service.
Harvest offers a wide variety of menu items, including hot and cold entrees, sandwiches, salads, breakfasts, pizza, burgers, and desserts, before and after weekend services.
The Seeds Bookstore/Resource Center carries almost 10,000 titles to serve the approximately 2,500 people who visit the store each week.
A smaller version of Seeds with a more focused selection, The Branch is located right in our Main Lobby for quick purchases and friendly customer service.
