Recover

Redeem your past. Reclaim your future.

Are habits or addictions controlling your life? Are wounds caused by others affecting you? Are you close to someone struggling with addiction? We all have hurts, habits, and hang-ups—and yet we want to be free of the unhelpful patterns that keep us from reaching our potential.

At RECOVER, powerful large-group teaching and confidential small groups can help you move toward healing, healthy relationships, and sobriety. Join us—and take a step to redeem your past and reclaim your future! No registration required.

What is Willow Recover?

Willow Recover provides support and encouragement for those struggling with—or relationally affected by—hurts, habits, and addictions. You'll experience a safe, confidential place to be heard and understood while working through a Christian 12-step recovery process. You’ll find men and women just like you, people with struggles, addictions, pain—and a deep desire to get well and move toward a new life.

When does Willow Recover meet?

Willow Recover gathers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays

Room: Blue Sky 2

Participants gather together for powerful large-group teaching and confidential small groups that are gender- and issue-specific:

  • Alcohol or substance abuse or addiction
  • Sexual integrity issues (including pornography or sexual addictions)
  • Codependence (those affected by a loved one's addiction, including adult children of alcoholics/addicts)
  • Food issues or addictions
  • Gambling issues or addiction
  • Overcoming sexual betrayal (for those whose loved one has been unfaithful)

After small groups, participants can continue the conversation in our Recover Café—a time of coffee and connection.

Willow Recover gathers every Wednesday night the building is open. Recover does not meet on the following dates in 2016:

March 23—Easter

July 6—Independence Day

August 10—Global Leadership Summit

November 23—Thanksgiving

December 21 & 28—Christmas

Note: A church-wide time of worship is available at 7 p.m. in Willow’s Lakeside Auditorium. At 7:25 p.m., those attending Recover or Willow’s many other workshops are dismissed for class.

Who can attend Willow Recover?

Anyone looking to break free of their unresolved hurts, hang-ups, or addictions is welcome. No registration or previous experience with recovery, Willow Creek Community Church, or the Christian faith is required.

If you're not sure if Willow Recover is for you, just show up and check it out. We’re confident you’ll find the hope and support you need to become the person God created you to be.

Willow Recover gathers every Wednesday night the building is open. See upcoming closures to the right.

Can I volunteer?
