Suggestions for Next Steps and Equipping Others

Each of the Five G's is reflected in five themes. As you prayerfully consider these 25 themes you may sense God prompting you to consider one as either a growth edge or an area where you can help equip others. Look at how you assessed yourself in each theme and consider the following guidelines for how to respond if you feel prompted:

Assessment of 6 or 7
This is an area where God seems to have truly blessed you. It may be time for you equip others, reproducing this blessing by giving away your knowledge and experiences in this area.

Assessment of 3, 4, or 5
This is an area where it may be helpful to gain understanding, knowledge and experiences to reinforce these spiritual truths. However, no one can concentrate on too many things at once. Consider which area you feel God calling you to focus on in the next year.

Assessment of 1 or 2
This is may be an area where you could benefit from some advice and direction. You can set up a time to talk with someone who will listen to your story and help you figure out your next steps by calling the Spiritual Formation Ministry (847)765-7920 or by sending an email message to spiritualadvice@willowcreek.org.

Remember that our continued spiritual growth and development is in God’s hands but we must cooperate with His work in our lives.
