| Annual Re-affirmation of Members |
Each year all Participating Members reaffirm their commitment to living in full devotion to Christ and this local church through a process of 1) self-assessment; 2) self-disclosure (discussing the self-assessment with any other participating member); and 3) commitment to community. "The re-affirmation process was an excellent experience. I didn't expect it to be as challenging and rewarding as it was. My friend and I actually spent three hours discussing the self-assessment tool. Talking about our spiritual journeys was encouraging, and we plan to meet regularly to give each other updates. It was a great opportunity to connect spiritually with another member. The process was affirming."

For Willow Creek Participating Members, the yearly reaffirmation experience is a special time to consider who we are and who we are becoming. The follow-up options are designed to continue the growth process throughout the year and make reaffirmation even more valuable and effective as a spiritual formation tool.
