Does Promiseland cost anything?
Promiseland is a ministry to children, so there is no cost. We are excited your children are with us in Promiseland.
What if Promiseland needs to contact me during the service?
In the event that the Promiseland staff needs to reach you during the service regarding your child, the number on your Family ID card will appear on a TV or video screen.
What is the Gold team?
These groups are designated by color, with the "Gold" team reserved for those children who are new attenders or have not yet been assigned to a permanent group.
How does my child become a member of a small group?
Your child becomes eligible when he or she establishes a regular attendance pattern at the same service. After your child has established regular attendance at a specific Promiseland service, your child's division leader (a Promiseland full-time staff member) will assign your child to a small group.
What is the capacity of Promiseland?
Promiseland has established ratios of children to adult workers to maintain a fun, yet safe learning environment appropriate for children. For infants, there will be a maximum of two children per adult; toddlers have four children per adult, two-year-olds have six, three- through five-year-olds have eight, kindergartners and those in higher grades have 10 or less children per adult.
What kind of security check do the volunteers have to go through?
Screening for all Promiseland volunteers includes background, legal and reference checks, as well as personal interviews with Promiseland staff.
