What to Expect
Our weekend service takes place in the main Auditorium of Christian Heritage Academy. At the Auditorium’s entrance, you’ll be welcomed and offered one of our weekly bulletins. Take a seat; we start off about five minutes before the hour with our band or a video presentation.
Our service begins with our worship band (led by Caleb Gregory or Matt Wright) guiding our hearts in praise through music and song. Our pastoral staff (Steve Gillen or Matt Wright) will then briefly share some updates about what’s going on at the church. We then typically join in via videocast to the speaker/message from our South Barrington Campus. One of our pastors will close the service with concluding thoughts and a short prayer.
Our services typically last 75 minutes. Afterwards, people usually mingle a little bit in the lobby, the Harvest Video Café, or the Seeds bookstore.
Being in the auditorium is the best way to experience our service, but we also have a more informal setting called the "Harvest Video Café" right next to the auditorium where you can sit down at a small table, get a cup of coffee and a breakfast pastry, and take in the service on a projection screen.
We are an informal church and accept people as they are. Whether you come in a suit, or in shorts and flip-flops, you will fit right in.
If it's your first time, don’t forget to stop by the Information Center in the main lobby.
