Explorer Group Leadership Training

Willow Creek offers a unique training for Christ-followers to learn how to effectively assist those who are exploring the claims of Christ. In Explorer Group Leadership Training, offered through Classes @ Willow, participants will discover an innovative approach to reaching out to people far from God.  Explorer Groups provide a safe place for people to investigate spiritual matters at their own pace and encounter biblical truths for themselves.

You Don’t Need All the Answers

“Even if Christians don’t see themselves as evangelists, they can learn to have engaging conversations about Jesus,” said Garry Poole, Willow’s key evangelism strategist. “Many feel that in order to do outreach, they must have all the answers about God.  They don’t.  They simply need to understand how to get a dialogue started by asking good questions and being great listeners.”

Life-Changing Discussions

Explorer Group Leadership Training is designed to equip Christ-followers to facilitate informal, non-threatening, on-going, life-changing discussions with spiritual seekers.

Training will be offered five distinct times as part of Midweek Classes: Wednesday nights beginning October 8 (3 sessions) and again November 12 (3 sessions). In addition, Weekend Classes will be offered in a one-day format on Saturdays: October 4, 18, and November 1.
