Forty Days

Over the course of 40 days, an estimated 150 Axis volunteers gave thousands of hours to make a difference throughout Chicagoland and around the world.

It was all part of the Axis 40/40 serving initiative, where 20-somethings engaged in more than 40 serving opportunities over a 40 day period. From packing meals for children in Zimbabwe, to assisting with field events at Special Olympics, Christ’s love was extended in practical and meaningful ways.

Axis, Willow’s ministry for 18 to 20-somethings, is a community that dares to live and love like Jesus. Their desire is to be known by love, live by faith, and bring hope into a broken world.

A celebration to wrap up 40/40 will be held during the monthly Axis worship gathering on July 11.
