Education: Beyond Backpacks

For years, Willow has held a backpack drive to provide school supplies for at-risk children throughout Chicago and the suburbs. But this year’s drive is different.

Rather than shopping for supplies, Willow attendees are asked to take their involvement a step deeper, and volunteer for a few hours at one of our educational ministry partners.

From assembling backpacks to helping with back-to-school parties and more, volunteers will get a firsthand understanding of the work these ministries do, the communities they serve, and the children who benefit.

And that’s an education in itself.
