Monday Night Life
When people need hope as they deal with issues in their personal lives, they often turn to the church—even when going to church services is the farthest thing from their minds.
A Place of Help…and Hope
For 15 years, Willow Creek has offered workshops and support communities to those who need both help and hope. Now grouped under the umbrella of Monday Night Life, workshops and support groups are available in nine-week sessions that occur three times a year and in ongoing sessions throughout the year.
While workshops like Divorce Recovery, Marriage Matters, Grief Support, and Good Sense (for financial concerns) are very popular, there are others that are lesser known, but equally important. Willow offers workshops that walk with women through the pain of sexual abuse, as well as physical, verbal, or emotional abuse; groups that support families and friends with loved ones who suffer with mental illness; and a group called Special Friends that provides care, teaching, community, and opportunities for spiritual growth to those with mental or physical disabilities.
Since its inception, more than 45,000 people have come to Willow to participate in one or more of these workshops and support groups. Hundreds have entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ because they first walked through the doors of a church in search of help, healing, and hope.
Monday Night Life begins the 2008 spring session on April 28.
