McHenry Pastor

Willow Creek’s McHenry County campus was introduced to Marcus Bieschke, their new campus pastor, at weekend services on March 3. Marcus has served at the Virginia Beach Community Chapel since 2002, most recently as lead pastor. Born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago, Marcus holds a B.A. from Loyola University Chicago, a Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership from Regent University's School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship. He’s also enjoyed working with other church leaders and Aubrey Malphurs as the East Coast Consultant for The Malphurs Group.
Marcus and his wife Annie have three children, Lucy, Benjamin and George—for now. In mid-2008, they expect to travel to Ethiopia to fulfill the dream of bringing home an adopted baby girl.
With a holy fire in his bones to see the Church be the Body of Christ and to become an unstoppable force for redemptive good in the world today, Marcus and his family will be welcome at Willow Creek McHenry County.
