The Divorce and Relational Recovery (DRR)
workshop supports and helps you work through the loss, grief and rebuilding after relational breakdown occurs. It is facilitated by trained leaders that have lived and grown through their own divorce or separation experience. The weekly teaching and time spent in community with your small group will help you bond with people that truly care for you and understand what you are going through. You will move through the basic steps required in recovering from relational breakdown and receive guidance that makes a real difference in your recovery and new life.

Frequently Asked Questions
I'm not divorced yet. Where do I belong - in Marriage Matters or Divorce & Relational Recovery?
If you are legally married and think there may be a chance your marriage could be restored, we suggest the Marriage Matters Workshop. If you are already divorced or separated, and there is little hope of reconciliation, we suggest Divorce & Relational Recovery.
I am not married, but recently ended a long-term relationship I need to recover from. Would this workshop be helpful to me?
Yes! Even though you might not have been married, it doesn't mean that you aren't going through many of the same feelings of loss and grief that those who are separated or divorced experience. You will learn what a healthy relationship looks like and better understand some of the components that contribute to the demise of a relationship.
Do you have to be a Christian to register for this workshop?
No. There is a healing path that is common to all people regardless of their beliefs. This is the path we help you explore. It consists of looking at some biblical principles that lead to insight and self-examination in the context of a safe, caring and non-judgmental community. We encourage you to attend some of our services since many of the topics are relevant to your healing process.
Who will be in my group?
Other men and women who, like you, are trying to understand and recover from the painful effects of a marital or relationship failure. We seek to place participants in groups within the same 10-year age range. Dating other participants while in the workshop is strongly discouraged. Romantic relationships can short-circuit the healing process. The workshop is designed to be a safe, protected and private place where you can process the pain and confusion of your life.
Who are the group leaders in the Divorce & Relational Recovery workshop?
Most leaders and volunteers have personally experienced this type of loss. All have grown emotionally and spiritually through their experiences. They have learned that making God-honoring choices is key to growing in wisdom and discernment and experiencing peace in their lives. They have worked through a forgiveness process that has freed them to minister to others who struggle as they once did.
What can I expect to learn from these workshops?
Each workshop is different. Topics focus on issues that surround the experience of divorce and relational breakdown. Our goal is to help lead you towards greater emotional and spiritual health.
What about my children?
On Monday night we now offer Oasis. Oasis is a bible based program for kids whose families are going through divorce or relational difficulties. Oasis is available on a limited basis. Register online.
