How did you come to be operations director at WCMC?
Having studied architecture at Lawrence Institute of Technology in Michigan, I tried a number of architectural and construction jobs but they left me restless. I sought guidance and began volunteering at the South Barrington campus. Through friends in my small group I learned of an opening for operations director at WCMC. It wasn’t long before I found myself seated at Starbucks® with Wayne.
Tell us a little about your life outside of WCMC.
I’ve been married to Pat for fifteen years. I have three grown children, two grown stepchildren and six grandchildren. I enjoy photography, nature and the hands-on work of remodeling. I’m reliable and level-headed. These traits combined with the experience and wisdom that come with age all help in my position here as operations director.
Do you have a favorite verse of scripture, something that touches you?
I love the entire book of John. It’s written so personally from the perspective of one who knew Jesus well.
What do you think will be written on your headstone?
