Loss and Grief
Extending hope in times of loss and grief
Willow Creek offers a variety of workshops that can provide support and care during seasons of loss.
Loss and Grief workshops
These eight-week workshops help adults find comfort and solace as they journey toward emotional and spiritual healing after experiencing a deep loss, such as the death of a loved one or the end of a marriage. Topics addressed include differences in how we grieve, forgiveness, guilt, self-care, and finding hope. Three sessions of eight-week workshops run throughout the year. Because each session is unique, a person may attend a full year of Life After Loss workshops (all 24 weeks) before the curriculum is repeated.
Loss and Grief events
In addition to the Life After Loss workshops described above, Willow offers Loss and Grief supplemental events. These events are designed for people grieving any type of loss, including the death of a loved one or the loss of a marriage, home, finances, or job. These unique sessions provide additional perspective in one's journey toward hope and healing.
