Multi-Cultural Community
If you want diversity, we're it! We have people from Germany, Mexico, Egypt, China, Croatia, Holland, Canada, and yes, from the U.S. too. We have black people, white people and Asian people. We have couples and singles, old and young, people from Catholic, Lutheran, Reformed and Pentecostal backgrounds.
We usually come straight from work, skip dinner, bring something edible to share, and eat together first. Most weeks we read and discuss books of the Bible as a whole. Sometimes we crawl through the text, sometimes we fly, and everything in between. And we pray!
Time & Location
We meet every other Friday evening from 7-10 p.m. (sort of). Locations vary, mostly at the homes of group members in the vicinity of Willow Creek’s South Barrington campus.

PARENTING SUPPORT GROUPS
These English-speaking cross-cultural groups are designed to support various needs for internationals. Our parenting groups help internationals learn effective ways of parenting with multi-cultural differences in mind.
Parents of Teens
This is a support group for multi-cultural parents of teens who are seeking to improve their parenting skills. Parents meet for fellowship, problem-solving and prayer, and we provide resources that will help them raise their teens confidently and holistically (social, emotional, physical, academic and spiritual). Anyone interested in helping or being supported is welcome.

Parents of Pre-schoolers
The purpose of this group is to provide a support community for multi-cultural parents and children to connect relationally, grow spiritually and interact socially. Men and women meet for Bible study at Willow Creek, and the whole family meets for social fun and fellowship either indoors or outdoors outside the church.
The meeting schedule rotates among men, women and whole-family gatherings. For example, one Saturday morning, the women meet for study and fellowship; the men meet the next Saturday; the third Saturday, the whole family meets for a fun, family-oriented event. Moms of Pre-schoolers
This is a cross-cultural group designed to support mothers with pre-schoolers. Moms meet for practical help in learning English, American culture and Christian basics, as well as social events with the kids.
