Help Provide Shoes for Children in Need

Willow Creek 5K Run/Walk in HUNTLEY

To kick off "Celebration of Hope" this April, Willow Creek Community Church - Huntley is sponsoring a local, family-friendly, USATF certified 5K race on Saturday, April 20. Proceeds from the race will go toward providing shoes for children in the Dominican Republic, empowering them to attend school.

Registration: Online registration closes on 4/19. No refunds will be issued. Race held rain or shine. Race day registration MUST be paid with cash or check.

Donate shoes for your neighbors in need.

Bring your USED shoes to the race. Drop them in the collection box. Your used shoes of all kinds (women's, men's, children's, boots, etc.) will be distrubuted to the area's needy through the Willow Creek Community Church Care Center.

Welcomes You to Race Central.

Huntley Park District. 12015 Mill Street in Huntley. Race Festivities at Betsey Warrington Park Pavillion.

No dogs, rollerblades or bicycles permitted on the course. Strollers permitted.

Post-Race Party! Invite friends to cheer you on. Plan to stay for food, beverages, a 10 a.m. children's race, children's and community fun.

Race proceeds go toward providing shoes for children struggling against global poverty, empowering them to attend school. The 5K race is part of Willow Creek's 2013 Celebration of Hope compassion campaign.

Many volunteers needed.

If you won't be participating in the event, you can still be involved with the event. It's a day you won't want to miss! You can help with set up, traffic, registration, or clean up. You can welcome and assist our guests. You can keep things organized and safe. You can provide water or food. You can help with children's activities. You can help make this day great.
