Foundations Small Groups
Foundations small groups provide a great opportunity for you to grow in your knowledge and faith, along with others who have similar experiences and questions. Over the course of nine months to a year, these small groups look at the issues discussed in the New Life class in greater detail. You’ll learn how to apply these truths to your life, how to share your faith with others, and how to identify your spiritual gifts.
Active participation in a Foundations small group will help you build a solid foundation upon which to base your pursuit of becoming a fully devoted follower of Christ. You will also become part of a loving and supportive community of believers devoted to helping each other reach this goal. Topics you will explore together include:
- What does it mean to be a "new creation"?
- How can I study and understand the Bible?
- How do I pray?
- How do I know what God’s will is?
- What is God really like?
- What does it mean to abide in Christ?
- How can I overcome temptation?
- What is church all about?
