Check out serving opportunities with the homeless, elderly, youth and others needing the touch of friendship during the Thanksgiving week--November 21st though the 30th. Click here to find out more.

Looking for a Thanksgiving Day serving opportunity in your neighborhood? Consider serving seniors at a local nursing home or senior facility near you. Many senior residences welcome volunteers to serve the feast on Thanksgiving Day--call ahead to your local facility to schedule your serving and see how you can make a difference.

Share in a Bible study with the women at The Wayside Center a homeless shelter in Elgin and then prepare and share lunch with them. More...

Join us for a day of serving the homeless and under-resourced at Cornerstone Community Outreach Center in Uptown. We will be working with the residents, preparing and serving lunch, playing with the children and/or seeing to any small projects needing completion.

Restock Our Shelves
Help fill the Willow Creek Care Center shelves with the following items:
* Toiletries
* Diapers sizes 1 thru 6
* Boxed Cereal
Drop off all items directly at the Care Center located at 2080 Stonington Ave. in Hoffman Estates (inside the Bright Hope building) during regular business hours.

Safe Families for Children is a Lydia Homes program that provides temporary care for children whose parents are going through temporary crisis. Open your home and make a difference in the lives of these children and families.  Contact extensionministries@willowcreek.org for more information.
Local Serving Opportunities
To find a serving opportunity that meets the needs of a particular group of people, to offer a specific skill, or to serve with a specific Willow Creek partner organization, check out the opportunities listes below!
Poverty and Homeless. Serve homeless and low income citizens in our community by helping provide food and shelter.
Education. Impact at-risk youth through mentoring and tutoring.
Vunerable People and Children. Welcome refugees and immigrants who are new to our country, open your home to children in need of a safe place, or encourage and give a second chance to those in or coming out of jail.
Construction. Hands-on construction, Habitat for Humanity projects, and home repair that gives hope to people in need of a safe place, or encourage and give a second chance to those in or coming out of jail.
Life Skills and Support Groups. Lead, teach or facilitate life skill groups and discussion for those experiencing a difficult season.
Willow Creek Care Center. Help distribute emergency food relief to individuals and families, pray with them, or provide learning opportunities including ESL classes.
